This is one of the most colorful and prestigious national festival and the presence of dignitaries like the President of India, the Prime Minister of India, Union Ministers and foreign delegates make the celebrations very dignified. The chief attraction of the republic day ceremony is the full display of India's military might. Thousands of soldiers selected to represent different regiments march down the road from India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhawan. The President of India receives the salute.
Soldiers smartly attired in their uniform marching to the tune of military bands is a sight to behold. Ruthless military machines like battle tanks and armored corps too are on display. India has progressed technologically and has developed sophisticated missile systems that can hit military installations with pin-point precision. You can also see some of these missiles.
